Welcome to my blog! I am a Puerto Rican and Dominican Latina from the Bronx, New York. I document the aspects of my life that irradiate me, that give me light and happiness. You will see this in the form of life, travel, fashion and inspiration. Enjoy!
“When life gives you lemons, hydrate. ”
My entire life has built up to this moment. From the moment I realized the power of my hands, my passion for writing has remained steadfast. Finally, at the age of 22, I am taking the step to share with you my art- the thing that keeps me going. Irradiate me means, enlighten me, illuminate me. The first thing that comes up when you Google the definition of "irradiate" is, "expose to radiation," followed by, "illuminate (something) by or as if by shining light on it." This paradoxical definition is what lured me into naming my blog Irradiate Me. This blog is about the things in my life that bring me joy and happiness, which hopefully will, too, bring you joy and happiness. However, what I love so much about the word irradiate (I love many words by the way) is that it's filled with both positive and negative imagery, which perfectly describe me and who I am. A culmination of danger and experiences that have only made me stronger and more radiant. So welcome to Irradiate Me. Welcome to the beginning of a dangerously powerful and enlightening journey. And I hope that you, too, will be irradiated each time you take a read. Thank you.
